Wanna learn the fundamentals of traditional Norse archery, without the typical bullshit associated with modern archery (essentially for show)? Wanna learn to actually use a traditional long bow for hunting and stuff? This field course will put you on the path to become a good archer. 

Camp ORGANIZATION

The Ý-Bogi camp is entirely completed outdoors over the course of a week end. The camp involves demonstrations as well as intensive target practice, both stationary and mobile.

The camp is practical rather the theoretical, and is therefore very physically demanding.

PRACTICAL NORSE ARCHERY

Learn and practice the fundamentals of Norse archery, from a practical perspective rather than a tecnnical or theoretical perspective. This includes the ability to shot a moving target repeatedly while not being stationary.

The Ý-Bogi camp is currently offered at varying locations within 80 km/50 miles of the following towns. Dates are based on Úlfhéðnar travel schedules:

Kalispell MT (USA)
Whistler BC (Canada)
Tromsø (Norge)
Reikjavík (Ísland)

In order to attend this camp, you must be fit and with no unresolved muscle, tendon, or ligament injury.
