Our ancestral connection to ancient Sparta is undeniable. Even Jómsvíkingar, many centuries later, were created by combining Spartan and Viking values and philosophies.
Therefore, when the opportunity arose, it was just natural to integrate Spartis, an ancestral Greek warrior order, with our own Viking Brotherhood: Sverðin.
To this day, all members of Sverðin are still educated in matters related to ancient Sparta, including the timeless Spartan warrior ethos.
