Even when it comes to abortion, we realize we don't fit on either end of the spectrum. We are pro-life with some limits and caveats, under which we may be pro-choice... Our approach is not emotional, but purely practical, and evolutionary.
Let's think about Hillary, Nancy, Ilhan, OAC, Angela or Justin... You ought to agree abortions in these cases would have been a much better option and in the interest of the world... Then looking at countries like Africa, India and China, overpopulated, having long exceeded the carrying capacity of the land and ruined their resources, abortion is once again in the best interest of the world, and even necessary for the survival of our species... Then there are cases of various genetic malformations, down syndrome, etc... Or actual (keyword being actual, not changing your mind) rape... Again, for these, we really are pro-choice.
However, in the normal course of life, in western countries, we are opposed to abortion, and certainly find the use of abortion as birth control, without the father's approval, especially at our expense as taxpayers, utterly abhorrent.
If we could provide one single reason for it, we'd refer to one of our Raiders here, probably one of the best Marines ever. Well, he was supposed to be aborted... Which would have been nothing short of a crime against humanity, and actually causes us PTSD.
